Stand Up Golf Outing
The 2nd annual Stand Up Golf Outing will take place on May 1st at Broadview Golf Course in Pataskala. The event will feature a four man scramble with an 8:00 a.m. shot-gun start. Like last year, there will be lots of door prizes, great food, and fun for all participants. We can only accommodate 60 golfers, so be sure to sign up early.
Empty Bowls Fundraiser for Hunger at SWL Arts Festival
Empty Bowls is a grassroots effort to raise money and awareness in an effort to end hunger and food insecurity. This past Fall, a group of 20 children from each school within our district participated in the creation of bowls to be used at this event. A simple meal of soup and bread will be provided for a minimum donation of $5.00 per bowl. ALL of the proceeds collected will go directly to the L.E.A.D.S. foundation and stay within our community. We will also be having a canned food drive, so when you attend please bring your non-damaged canned goods with you.
This is sure to be an inspiring night for all who attend.
